Kevin Andrew Adams is the County Judge for Leflore County, Mississippi, where he hears civil cases and civil and criminal appeals from lower courts.  All cases of eminent domain in Leflore County are heard by the County Court.  Judge Adams has, during his tenure, tackled a years-long backlog of appeals from Justice Court and Municipal Court.

Being the County Judge, he is also the Youth Court Judge for Leflore County, a jurisdiction which receives some three hundred sixty referrals per year.  Judge Adams has, among other reforms and programs, led Leflore County into a partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation's Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative; has instituted a Juvenile Drug Court for his jurisdiction; and is actively seeking partners and programs to assist the youth in his county and prevent recidivism by those before his Court.

A Greenwood native, he is a graduate of Greenwood High School, earned a B.B.A. from Millsaps College, and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law.  He is a member of the Leflore County Bar Association, the Mississippi Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  He is also a member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Law Judges and the Mississippi Council of Youth Court Judges.
