There are several rules that concern contributions to judicial campaigns in Mississippi:
Each person, business, or entity which gives more than $200.00 per year must be identified in contribution reports.
Corporations, incorporated committees and associations, and incorporated companies are prohibited from contributing more than $1,000.00 per year.
No individual or political action committee may donate more than $2,500.00 per year.
No judicial candidate or candidate's committee shall accept a contribution from a political party or any committee affiliated with a political party.
